EARTHWORKS
Earthworks are engineering works using purpose designed heavy machinery and created through the processing of parts of the earth's surface involving quantities of soils and/or unformed rock.
WHEN EARTHWORKS ARE REQUIRED
With any new project whether residential, commercial or industrial requires building and construction of any size, there is a high possibility that some form of excavations or earthwork will be required to prepare the site before anything else happens. But it is not restricted to heavy machinery levelling land areas and pushing tonnes of dirt around, Excavation is also required for the laying of pipes, roads, railways, and for the home projects such as swimming pools, driveways and landscaping.
MACHINERY REQUIRED
A project can require from 1 unit of machinery right through to 50 plus and this is obviously dependant on the project size.
