BUT FIRST, A WORD FROM THE BOSS
LGWR is a highly experienced Land Clearing company which was established in early 2003 to service the entire Darwin region and further afield as required. We are professionals who specialise in clearing large areas of trees and vegetation for developers, councils, government agencies and individuals. Our work is of the highest standard and all our clients get the job down to exactly their specifications and expectations.
I purchased the companies first 2400a Peterson Horizontal Grinder back in 2004. Since then, we have purchased a further 7 Horizontal grinders throughout the years with our current two models (Petersen 2710D) being purchased new from Komatsu Forrest in May & June of 2018. In conjunction with our mulching operations LGWR owns and operates an extensive plant list of heavy machinery as noted below.
We have a large-scale workshop in which we have a fulltime mechanic working in to ensure all machinery is serviced regularly and maintained to a high standard to comply with regulations and requirements for each job.

We have a fleet of service vehicles which comply with site standards and are maintained and documented regularly using the companies recently introduced documentation procedure -QIN Code Safe, which can be utilised conveniently by all on a phone application available for the clients viewing.
We also have light trucks for smaller or residential mulch and compost deliveries

Our team are all trained to service, maintain, operate and document all jobs they attend and are reviewed and/or trained for competencies they should require to progress their career with us at LGWR.
Over the years we have completed a variety of projects ranging from small property owners to large corporate clients and local councils.
We prioritise safety standards. Apart from the dangers, accidents & errors cost time. At the commencement of each project a risk assessment is completed and all aspects of Occupational Health and Safety are adhered to during the period on site to greatly reduce the chances of incidents.

We stand for expanding our activity all over the state and we constantly work on promoting our projects and to engaging an ever increasing client base. Our clients include private owners, schools, golf courses, building contractors, landscapers, commercial properties, local councils and state government departments. With a large range of equipment we can handle any job; from small to large and from simple to complicated. We remove all pruned vegetation and leave every site clean and tidy once the jobs are completed.
